Position Summary:

The Deductions Specialist is responsible for processing all payment deductions taken by our wholesale customers, utilizing our accounting software and trade promotion management software. This position reports to our Sr. Director, Finance and Accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate processing of customer payment deductions by utilizing our software tools to clear them against planned promotions.
• Collaborating with Accounting Specialist to ensure smooth and timely processing of receivables.
• Collaborating with sales team and sales brokers to resolve discrepancies/omissions between payment deductions and trade plan.
• Identifying deductions that may require disputes.
• Working with disputes team to file disputes with all necessary claim information and backup, as well as assisting with follow-up to resolve disputes quickly.
• Assisting with month-end close processes related to accounts receivable.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Must be a high-integrity team player with excellent attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business administration.

• Base salary range of $60,0000 to $70,000 per year, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
